Minderest vs Comprice

Minderest promises any country. Who reads your competitors' prices in Estonia?

Minderest is a Spanish company that has specialised in price and stock intelligence since 2012 and says it can monitor websites in any country, language or currency. Comprice is a B2B price monitoring tool for online retailers and manufacturers, built in Estonia and reading shops across the Baltics, the Nordics, Europe and North America. This page uses only what each company publishes on its own site and what dated third-party reviews add. Where nothing was found, the page says so.

Who each tool is built for

Minderest names two audiences: retailers, and brands and manufacturers. It says 11 of the world's 50 largest retailers use it, and that it has more than 100 staff and over 1,000 enterprise projects behind it. A third-party review (thepricegeek.com, July 2026) lists "not suitable for SMBs" as a con.

Comprice is built for a different size of customer. For ON24, one of Estonia's largest home-furnishing retailers, Comprice monitors 2,750+ products across 84 shops. For HUUM, a sauna heater manufacturer, it monitors 44 stores in the US and Canada. Setup is usually done the same day and a product feed is optional: competitor URLs can be entered by hand.

Where the shops are

Minderest says it operates in more than 40 countries. Its offices are in Murcia, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Munich, Vercelli, Paris, Miami and Plano, Texas. The words Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania do not appear on minderest.com, and no Baltic case study is published. That says nothing about capability. Ask at the demo which Estonian shops are already covered.

Comprice reads hundreds of Baltic and Nordic online stores and, for manufacturers, dealers in the US, Canada, Germany and other countries. Regions where Comprice partners operate today: Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, the US and Canada. A missing competitor shop is added free of charge, usually within one to two business days, as long as it is technically readable.

One point in Minderest's favour: it says it also reads B2B portals, comparison sites such as Google Shopping and marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay. Comprice reads open-web prices only; closed B2B portals need verification on the partner's side.

How prices are read and products matched

Minderest's product page says it monitors competitors' prices, promotions and stock daily. The July 2026 review adds that monitoring frequency scales with client needs. Comprice reads prices several times a day, and each product shows when it was last refreshed. Price history and trends are part of the package.

Minderest describes its AI matching algorithm as the most advanced on the market and says it matches identical, similar and white-label products even without an EAN or UPC code. When the machine reaches its limits, a person takes over: your own team or Minderest's matching experts. The July 2026 review notes that some matches still need manual review and that implementation takes weeks.

Comprice matches in a fixed order: EAN code first; if there is none, CLIP image recognition, OCR and an analysis of brand, product and variant. Every competitor the system finds is confirmed by a person before it enters monitoring. The principle is simple: pick the tool by the shops it already reads, not by the number of countries it promises.

Price and getting started

Minderest has no pricing page; the only next step on its site is a demo request. The July 2026 review states: custom quote only, a minimum contract before platform access, no free trial. Comprice also quotes per customer, based on catalog size, competitor count and the features needed. The difference is the start: 14 days free, no credit card, a monthly plan you can cancel at any time.

Example: HUUM in North America

HUUM sauna heaters are sold in North America by dealers ranging from small sauna shops to Amazon and Walmart, under a MAP rule. A DROP 9 heater needs 4 stone packs and a HIVE 18 needs 17; a pack costs $80, so "stones included" can mean $320 or $1,360. Comprice reads the dealers' product pages four times a day, prices each component from HUUM's official list, counts stone packs by heater model and routes unclear cases to a person before anything is called a breach. Minderest's brands page also offers MSRP deviation and MAP violation tracking, but does not state an update frequency.
